My name is Sarah, and I am first and foremost a mom to 5 boys (and, no, that wasn’t a type-o!) I am married to a wonderful man, Erik, who spoils me rotten, even on my moody days, and knows just how to cheer me up when life gets tough.
In 2006, I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Horticulture and a minor in Science. I think I’ve loved plants and flowers as long as I can remember, so it only felt natural to go into that field.I have my own side business as a florist for an interior designer. I feel very blessed that I get paid for my passions in life.
All of my boys, hubby included, keep me very busy, but I do manage to squeeze in a little “me” time. Gardening is my true passion in life. I have too many “favorite” plants to list, so I have my “Plant of the Day” that takes its place. God’s beauty in nature is just too awesome to have one favorite!
Reading is my escape from reality. I love, and will read, almost anything recommended to me. So, recommend away! Lord knows I have a few to recommend myself.
Photography is my hobby. I love floral photos (surprise, surprise!), but I also enjoy capturing candid shots of my boys just being boys.
